Story Pirates is a company dedicated to the creative talents of all children. They produce and create a plethora of content driven by kids' stories, in addition to cultivating those creative talents through online and school workshops. In the latter, they engage children through lively skits to teach them the basics of crafting narratives that are structured, but still full of fun. Then, Story Pirates work with children as they write, offering suggestions and making sure subject matter remains family-friendly, for all their classmates to enjoy.
I only had the pleasure of working with Story Pirates very briefly, as my employment unfortunately preceded the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down schools. However, I enjoyed it more than words can say. The unique strategy with which they educate gets through to kids on a level most "boring" lectures don't, and the varied and lively stories each student wrote will stick with me for years to come.
